I will need a building that would have no windows, and a locked door, but I will have a small data center to provide hosting solutions to people on the internet. Plans will range from $0 for 2GB of storage to $30 for 64GB of storage. The free account will be limited to personal accounts only, and only one free account per credit card. This will reduce the chance of abuse with the system. All accounts will support unlimited domains, unlimited subdomains, MySQL databases, and server side capabilities such as PHP, or CGI. There will also be unlimited email accounts, but keep in mind that the email service will count against your plan’s capacity.
The two most important things of a hosting account will be the webspace to host, and the email service to provide for. To access all of the information needed, there will be a control panel. There will be some impportant addresses to note. First, name servers will be ns1.fsp.tld, ns2.fsp.tld, ns3.fsp.tld, and ns4.fspsample.com. By pointing to the name servers, you assure that your domain can use the resources of my hosting company. You would have to assign your domain in the control panel so my hosting platform knows where to point the domain that is being hosted. Once you provided a domain, you would be prompted to create an MySQL database. The server to this database will always be sql.you.tld. You UID will be you_tld. You would setup the password as to your needs. The database is important for many sites, and required for WordPress driven websites. Since you only have 1 database per domain, you would want to use the table prefix variable when setting up your config file. This could be my_ for my.you.tld.
You would have unlimited domains. Keep in mind, you are still limited to the capacity of your plan. However, email addresses are very important. Hosted email addresses will require webmail login, or an email client to acquire the email. Forwarders will send mail to another email address whether it is in your domain, or another domain. Auto-responders will sent an automated reply when someone emails that address. To prevent auto-reply loops, the reply to address will be delete@you.tld. You would also be able to set up a catch-all. Any undefined addresses will go to the catch-all address. This address must be in the same domain as the catch-all. Therefore if you set up a catch-all, and someone sends an email to anything@you.tld, the mail will not forward to any address than you.tld. You mail server will be IMAP, and will be mail.you.tld. Your email service will support SFP for verification with other email domains. To log in via webmail, you would go to https://mail.you.tld. You would provide the user ID, and password to login.
